Activated Alumina

Nitroxtec uses premium Activated Alumina as the core drying media in its Desiccant Dryer systems. With high adsorption capacity and strong resistance to thermal and mechanical stress, it ensures reliable, energy-efficient removal of water vapor from compressed air—supporting ISO 8573.1 air quality standards.

High-Performance Activated Alumina for Desiccant Dryers

Moisture Removal. Stable Performance. Built for Industrial Drying.

Nitroxtec integrates high-grade Activated Alumina into its heatless and heated-type desiccant dryers, offering superior moisture adsorption for compressed air systems. This spherical, porous form of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) is engineered to remove water vapor via physical adsorption, delivering ultra-dry air down to dew points of -40°C or even -70°C.

Resistant to abrasion, thermal shock, and chemical degradation, Nitroxtec’s activated alumina media supports long service life and minimal dusting, even under demanding pressure swing adsorption (PSA) conditions. Its high crush strength and uniform pore structure enable fast, efficient drying cycles, while maintaining consistent dew point stability.
