Portable Nitrogen Generator for Laser Welding Machines (NitroxWeld)

Say goodbye to gas cylinders with our new Portable Nitrogen generator!

Nitroxtec’s Portable Nitrogen Generator (NitroxWeld) is a compact and mobile system specially designed for laser welding applications.
The system produces high-purity nitrogen gas by separating oxygen from compressed air using PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technology. It does not require external nitrogen cylinders, large storage tanks, or additional filtration and drying systems.

NITROXTEC’s Portable Nitrogen Generator (NitroxWled) is a compact and mobile system specially designed for laser welding applications.
The system produces high-purity nitrogen gas by separating oxygen from compressed air using PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technology. It does not require external nitrogen cylinders, large storage tanks, or additional filtration and drying systems.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it can be easily positioned next to the laser welding machine. Thanks to its touchscreen PLC control system, it operates fully automatically and ensures energy efficiency.

Key Advantages:

  1. On-site and instant nitrogen production without gas cylinders.
  2. No need for external filters or dryers.
  3. Automatic operation with standby mode for energy saving.
  4. Low operating cost with minimal maintenance.
  5. Return on investment within 3–4 months

Technical Specifications:

  • Technology: PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption)
  • Inlet Air Pressure: 5-7 bar
  • Air Consumption: 300–400 L/min
  • Nitrogen Purity: 99.99%
  • Nitrogen Outlet Pressure: 5-7 bar (adjustable according to machine requirements)
  • Capacity:
    • 2 units for 1–2 kW laser welding machines.
    • 1 unit for 3 kW laser welding machine
  • Control System: Touchscreen PLC (fully automatic)
  • Operating Mode: Automatic operation with standby mode.
  • Power Supply: 220V
  • Installation Type: Portable cabinet with wheels
  • Operating Temperature: +5°C to +45°C
  • Air Quality Requirement: Standard compressed air (integrated system)

Working Principle:

  1. Compressed air enters the system.
  2. Air is filtered and dried.
  3. Oxygen is separated in PSA columns.
  4. High-purity nitrogen is produced.
  5. Nitrogen is supplied directly to the laser machine.
  6. The system automatically switches to standby mode when gas is not needed.

Applications:

  • Handheld and automatic laser welding machines.
  • Welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and oxidation-sensitive metals.
  • Automotive, manufacturing, metal processing, shipbuilding, and defense industries.
  • Workshops and factories with continuous production.

Cost Advantage:

  • Much more economical than nitrogen cylinders.
  • Return on investment within 3–4 months.
  • Low energy consumption and low maintenance cost.
